This program, designed for those ages 13+, is where energetic and dedicated young people will be taught the key foundational jobs of the behind the scenes workings of a well-organized and fine-tuned camp. They are responsible for the daily washing of all the dishes and pots, housekeeping duties, landscaping, and general maintenance. In addition, they will have their own scheduled times on our excellent waterfront along with team building activities and devotionals. Creating friendships and memories that last a lifetime, while learning valuable skills, is one of the goals of Work Crew at Kawkawa. Often senior staff look back at this time as being one of the best places to start their camping memories. This is a popular option with 14 participants (7 girls and 7 guys) each week. Participants can sign up for multiple weeks of the summer but are evaluated at the end of each week.
