We welcome you to discover the new and improved Kawkawa Camp and Retreat, located on 20 beautiful acres on the sunny shores of Kawkawa Lake, in Hope, B.C. Besides the full range of Christian summer camp programs specializing in leadership training and personal development we run through July and August, our facility is also well suited as a year-round retreat or conference destination with winterized accommodation and meeting rooms for 100+ people.

The facilities include a large dining room with commercial kitchen that seats 150 with unobstructed views of the lake. Several break-out rooms include the Cedar meeting room (50 people), a chapel (80 people) and the Alder room (30 people).  Accommodations are nestled in tall old growth forest, and include 4 Cottages and 5 Chalets, There is also a level entry 17 room lodge with laundry facilities, handicap washroom and individual bedrooms.

The most impressive gem on the site is a 2 bedroom rental cabin with a magnificent porch overlooking the lake. Kawkawa is the perfect place for Alpha retreats, men’s, women’s or youth retreats, or family gatherings.  The newly built Eagle’s Nest Conference suite offers board meeting or small gathering opportunities.   The suite has a full kitchen, a 12 person board room table and sleeping accommodation for up to 4 people.  Additional accommodation can be rented to accommodate your group.  To see photos of our facilities or accommodations click here.

Activity opportunities include a bouldering room, archery, riflery, archery tag, frizbee golf, sports field, hiking trails, and scavenger hunts amongst other.  The beautiful lake is ideal for water sports including canoeing, kayaking, surf bikes and our inflatable water toys.  The outdoor pizza oven or  a beach bar-b-q is a popular meal option.
