Whether you’re a longtime friend of Kawkawa, or a family deciding where your kids might like to go to summer camp, come on out to experience “a day in the life” of summer camp fun at Kawkawa with the whole family. Enjoy a BBQ lunch, check out the outdoor pizza oven in action, and take a crack at the various exciting activities the camp has to offer, on land and water. All donations from our open house will towards summer staff bursaries.

On Saturday, October 12th, we will be having a Saturday only work day as we prepare for another exciting winter session!!  Calling all handymen, carpenters, electricians, jack of all trades, painters, rakers, roofers ( metal and asphalt) & window washers !  Lunch will be provided.  If you have time on Saturday to come out with your family or friends we would love to have your help.  Areas of focus:

Electrical work/ General grounds clean-up/ Wood Chopping/ Construction jobs (ie: rebuild wood shed)/ Winterization of site/ Burn Pile/ Fix up and repair jobs/ Cement work/ Gardening $ Landscaping/ Dump run.

Things to bring with you:  Work Gloves, Gardening Tools, Chainsaw, Hammer & Constructions tools, Work Truck, etc…

Come out and enjoy one of the long time traditions of Kawkawa. Great food, fellowship and instruction along with an opportunity to spend a weekend with friends without the worry of dishes or meal preparations. This camp has a limit of 40 Ladies so don’t miss out!
