Visit the waterfalls or climb local mountains to the lookout or all the way up Mount Hope, the tallest mountain on the west coast.
The Kawkawa campsite features a well-treed 20 acres with old growth forest including 500 and 900 year old Douglas Fir trees. We are located just 3 km from Hope, BC, where two rivers meet with incredible fishing in both the lake and rivers. Ample opportunities for outdoor photography abound on and around the camp grounds. Just a 45 minute walk from the site (or a 5 minute drive) offers an opportunity to walk through the magnificent Othello Tunnels. Local attractions also include golfing and tennis in our local park in downtown Hope. Swimming can be found in the warm pristine waters of Kawkawa Lake either from our own private beach or from the public beach access only minutes away. The Nestles water bottling company is located 1 km away from the camp.
