The time of the year has finally come when we begin to get really excited about summer camps here at Kawkawa. We want to make sure that you get signed up as soon as possible so we can get you into a camp. Annual General Meeting on June 9, 2009
We are having our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday evening - 7:00pm, in the Youth Centre at Sevenoaks Alliance Church in Abbotsford. People are encouraged to come out and meet Wayne Stewart, the new and recently appointed Camp Kawkawa Executive Director.
Staff & Volunteer Opportunities
Kawkawa Summer Camps are dedicated, “To bring people to know God, demonstrate His love and communicate Christ to others”. To accomplish this we are looking for people who are committed to Christ and want to serve in an exciting camp atmosphere.
Work Days - Volunteers Needed
We are constantly having work days from now until July to get the camp ready for summer. We need both skilled (carpenters, plumbers, electrician etc) and un-skilled people. We have a great time of fellowship, lunch will be provided and we get a lot of work done. We just had our first work day Saturday Feb. 21 and we all (about 30 people) had a fantastic time.

Retreat Information
Kawkawa Camp & Retreat is open for the 2009 camping season. There are still some openings remaining for the months of April to June and then from September to December, but you better hurry! For more information and rates please visit the retreat page or contact us.
